At Sevenoaks Hearing, we use the very latest technology to give our clients the smoothest and most enjoyable journey towards clearer hearing. Here’s an overview of how technology helps us deliver the highest quality of service, every step of the way:

Step 1: The hearing test

To pinpoint the unique strengths and weaknesses of your hearing, we measure your hearing performance across three tests: a Pure Tone Audiogram in a soundproof room; one speech understanding test in a quiet environment; and another in an artificially noisy environment.

Step 2: The hearing aid

As an independent clinic, we are able to offer a full range of hearing aids from any manufacturer. These include incredibly advanced models such as the Invisible-in-the-Canal Lyric and the first hearing aid to feature artificial intelligence and Amazon Alexa connectivity, the Starkey Livio AI.

Step 3: The fitting

We are one of the first hearing clinics in the UK to offer digital ear mapping. As many hearing aids now include an earpiece custom-moulded to the unique contours of your ear, digital mapping allows us to ‘scan’ your ear non-intrusively. Compared to the old method of making a physical mould by pouring silicone into the ear canal, digital mapping is more accurate and provides no discomfort.
